Who can apply?
To be eligible to take the PMP certification training there are two possible routes. These are the prerequisites:
- Secondary degrees, such as a diploma, international equivalent or associate’s degree
- 7,800 hours of experience in project management
- 36 hours of course in project management (webinars, seminars, development days)
Or:
- 4,800 hours of experience in project management
- 36 hours of course in project management
- A four-year degree
As you can see from the above trend line, the PMP trend grows at a steady rate of 10%. However, last year the growth rate of PMP was 12% due to edition changes from the 5th to 6th edition.
